Mauriell Amechi, ELPA PhD student is the recipient of the 2017-2018 Paul P. Fidler Research Grant for his study entitled “Our Stories (Un)Told: Community Cultural Wealth and the College-Going Experiences of Transitioning Youth in Foster Care.” The award was made by the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition at the University of South Carolina.
