Description
Joe Anistranski from the Department of Educational Psychology will explore methods of building student feedback into assignments in online courses on Dec. 8.

This lab will focus on traditional methods (e.g., surveys) to get student feedback and creative ways to build student feedback into assignments. What are benefits and drawbacks of the comment and grading functions in Speedgrader? And we’ll use part of the session to brainstorm ways to disguise getting formative feedback through formative assessments.

The Active Teaching Lab provides a safe space for structured exploration of tools and techniques to engage students and teach more effectively.
