In keeping with the tradition of the award, Frazer gave the commencement address at the College's Winter Commencement.

At the time Frazer received the award, he was a faculty member with Fort Lewis College’s Department of Exercise Science. Now he is an associate professor in the recently formed Department of Adventure Education.

Fort Lewis College, located in Durango, is Colorado's public liberal arts college. For more on this recognition, see this news release.
