Graduate Assistantships (Program or Teaching)
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis supportes several graduate assistants, graduate fellows, and teaching assistants. Students in our Department also find work opportunities through the Wisconsin Center for Educational Research (WCER), Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE), Center on Education and Work (CEW), and The Wisconsin Center for Advancement of Post-Secondary Education (WISCAPE)
Graduate students admitted to the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis Department who have the necessary skills and experience to assist a professor or project director in the teaching or research activities in which s/he is engaged are eligible to apply for graduate assistantships. Graduate assistantships are not offered as recruiting tools to students who are applying for admission to the Department.
Stipend
Appointments range for 25% to 50%. The percent of appointment determines the amount of the stipend. One-third time 33 1/3% (or greater) appointments carry remission of tuition and the opportunity for an excellent health insurance and benefits package. Application Procedure
Graduate students who are seeking graduate assistantships should submit their resume to the Department. Resumes are kept on file and should any positions become available within the Department applicants will be notified.
