George Tipler School Law Study Program
Eligibility
The George Tipler family has funded an annual grant to be given to a student in the administrator preparation program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis. Mr. Tipler was the former Executive Director of the Wisconsin Association of School Boards. Recipient must be enrolled in an administrator preparation program in the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis. The grant is for the study of a school legal issue.
Stipend
The amount of the grant in 2009 is $700.
Application Procedure
An application for the grant should include a one or two page description of the school legal issue to be studied and the proposed use of the grant funds. The application should be submitted to Professor Julie Mead of the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis, 253-D Education Building, 1000 Bascom Mall, Madison, WI 53706.
