Ph.D. Degree Requirements
There are three distinct program specializations in the Ph.D. program:
Content areas include organizational theory, politics of education, legal aspects of administration, economics and financing of education, educational planning and program evaluation, supervision of instruction, higher education, vocational-technical education, special education, pupil personnel services, community education, and education policy.

Examinations - Qualifying Exam, Preliminary Exam, Final Oral Exam
Minimum Standards and Progress Towards Degree
Admission
Ph.D. admissions is considered once a year with an application deadline of December 1 for admission in summer or fall of the following year. Ph.D. students are not admitted for spring semesters.
